We want to encourage everyone who is interested in Making Tax Digital to give us their views and respond to our consultations.

To help with this, we’re running a programme of webinars and face-to-face events across the UK which will provide more detail on the consultations and an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback.

Face-to-face events

We’re running a series of face-to-face events across the UK throughout September and October 2016. Dates, times and subjects covered are detailed below.

Some sessions will cover the two simplification consultations in more depth.

To apply for a place at one of these events please email us: makingtaxdigital.mailbox@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk.

Please let us know:

  • the type of event you would like to attend, for example if you wish to attend one of the in-depth sessions on the simplification consultations
  • the date, location and time (morning or afternoon) you’d prefer

It would also be extremely helpful if you can let us know whether you’re coming along because you run a business, you’re a tax agent, or representing business interests.

We’ll confirm exact times when we send you a formal invitation.

We expect demand to be high and places are limited so you may want to consider attending a webinar where you’ll get the same opportunity to ask questions about the subjects that concern you.

Webinars

Live webinars last for an hour. You can ask questions during the presentation and get answers from the HMRC host.

You can register in advance, and you should log in at least 5 minutes before a live webinar is due to start.
