Continuing the firm’s commitment to deliver a superior accountancy service, CBHC has once again broken the mould with the appointment of a non-executive chairman.

A highly-regarded equity market professional with 21 years of experience working in the city, including 19 with investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort, Jeremy Allen brings a wealth of knowledge to the CBHC board.

Former Global Head of Dresdner Kleinwort’s Equity Research Department, and a Board Member of their institutional Equity Division, Jeremy is used to managing staff teams of over 200, and budgets in excess of £200 million.

Since leaving the City in 2007, Jeremy has focused on bringing his knowledge and experience to SMEs as a consultant, and is also a non-executive director in the venture capital industry. The parallels with CBHC are clear – since the firm was created in 2009, it has focused on developing an innovative portfolio of business advisory services, delivered by highly skilled professionals. Jeremy’s appointment signals the next phase in CBHC’s goal to place accountancy at the heart of business growth, as he explains:

“Success in my equity market career depended on understanding companies’ ability to differentiate themselves from their competitors, creating long term strategies geared towards sustainable growth. This is exactly what’s needed in the current climate, and CBHC has brought me on board to ensure that their service is on a par with any city firm.”

Armed with an accountancy degree, Jeremy is ideally placed to help CBHC to raise standards and continue to innovate throughout the practice:

“CBHC offers the complete range of services that are essential to business growth. This is quite unusual for a firm of its size and ensures that clients enjoy business continuity and access to skilled experts in all areas. My goal is to help strengthen CBHC’s integrated proposition, while also bringing an objective viewpoint to encourage continuous improvement.”
